Getting to the Next Level
June 22, 2012, Friday, 10am-4pm
In this workshop we will be focusing on improving your technique so that you can throw more efficiently, faster, easier and bigger. Each form may be approached differently to optimize your results. You will learn four ways to center, including variations for large amounts of clay, directional pulling and three ways to get height fast when pulling up your walls. Different hand positions and tools will be demonstrated for efficient throwing. The goal is not to change what works for you, but instead give you more choices and improve your technique. Lots of individual coaching provided. Previous experience is necessary.
